Police are seeking Duece Martinez, 19, after announcing a warrant for his arrest on Thursday. He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes.

In late January, Martinez was sentenced in the Montezuma County District Court in five cases. Six others were dismissed as part of a global plea bargain.

During sentencing, Martinez appeared from a 60-day inpatient treatment program via Webex. He pleaded guilty to charges including vehicular eluding, third-degree assault as an act of domestic violence, violation of a protection order, theft less than $300 and underage DUI.

The sentences in the case are expected to run concurrently. The longest probation is 24 months, and no sentence included jail time.
