The start date will be announced later
The Cortez Municipal Airport will start charging people to park there some time next year; but the start date has yet to be determined.
The first hour of parking will be free. From there, they’ll charge $4 a day. After seven days, it’ll drop to $3 a day, and after 14 days, it’ll cost $2 a day.
For frequent flyers, there’s an annual pass option.
“The paid parking schedule is implemented in the 2025 Schedule of Fees and Charges that was approved on the December 10th regular council meeting,” said Cortez Municipal Airport Director Jeremy Patton in an email.
