Cortez Farmers Market grateful to contributors

The Journal

Cortez Farmers Market wants to thank the many contributors that make CFM one of Montezuma County’s best venues for locally sourced products, family fun and good community!

Thanks to all the vendors for bringing us your delicious locally- grown fruits and vegetables, locally pasture-raised meats and dairy, amazing art, scrumptious prepared food and massage therapy!

Thanks to our customers that show up every week eager to shop from our 45 vendors, the fabulous musicians, our storyteller Laura McHenry, of Cortez Public Library and our pet sitter, Fawn Allen!

Deserving immense thanks are Montezuma County for gifting CFM the use of their parking lot, electric for our musicians and supply-trailer storage; city of Cortez; CREA, Ballantine Family Fund and Empire Electric Assoc. for their generous grants(!); our fiscal agent, The Pinon Project. Thanks to The Journal, Four Corners Free Press; KSJD and Mesa TV for advertising; Connie Baber for maintaining our website.

Thanks to Farmers Telephone for providing our local nonprofits a booth. Gigantic thanks to Montezuma County Extension Office for all they do for us year-round! Thanks to LiveWell for their support in promoting the Double Up Food Bucks program! We thank our devoted Friend’s Booth volunteers plus all the MC Extension Office’s Master Gardeners – we could not do this without all of you!

CFM appreciates support from our sponsors, those not already mentioned above: KRTZ, Brand Central/Southwest Printing and Vectra Bank.

Lily Jamison-Cash and Jodie Sutton, CFM co-managers.
