Commodity registration set Feb. 18

USDA Commodity Card registration is Feb. 18 for Cortez, Dolores and Mancos recipients.

One card per household is allowed. Those with multiple dwellings must bring in proof such as two electricity bills.

Applicants must bring a copy of their proof of 2015 income, to be left at the office. Applicants must also bring proof of physical address, and a Social Security card for the head of household. If correct information isn’t not brought, applicants won’t receive a card.

Applicants must have a Dolores card to pick up commodities in Dolores.

Registrations are: Cortez, County Annex, 107 N. Chestnut, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Dolores Community Center, 400 East Riverside Ave., 9 to 11 a.m.; and Mancos Masonic Lodge basement, 141 E. Montezuma St., 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those who are unable to register on this dates may register Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m.

Gross monthly income limits are: for one in the family, $1,800; two in the family, $2,426; three, $3,051; four, $3,677; five, $4,303; and six, $4,929. For additional family members, add $626 per person.

USDA prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities.
