Colorado master gardener program begins Jan. 28

The Colorado Master Gardener Program, an 11-week course that focuses on non-commercial, home gardener, begins on Jan. 28.

The training includes lawn, plant, tree, vegetable care, soils and fertilizers, water and weed management, insects, and diseases of plants and pruning. Classes are taught by CSU Extension campus-based and county-based faculty.

Class periods are six hours per day, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The program runs every Thursday from Jan. 28 through to April 7, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
