Coloradans, get on board the wolf train

Recently, an index of animal life on Earth showed that, on average, the populations of almost 4,400 monitored mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish had declined by 68% since 1970. In fact, we are in the midst of the Sixth Extinction.

So, what are we to do?

Curse the darkness?

No, we can light a candle by restoring wolves to Colorado.

By putting a sick or disabled prey animal on the ground regularly through the year, wolves feed dozens of species of birds and mammals, and hundreds of species of beetles.

Colorado citizens have placed Proposition 114, Reintroduction and Management of Gray Wolves, on the November ballot.

You get to vote on it.
