‘Citizens Survey’ open through April

The Southwest Colorado Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Roundtable, is a new Colorado Outdoor Regional Partnerships Initiative for Archuleta, La Plata, San Juan and southern Hinsdale counties.

This new coalition will use awarded funding to convene diverse users and voices from the region to identify common ground, share up-to-date information, and chart a course for the region to identify overarching goals and strategies related to conservation and outdoor recreation.

The Citizens Survey will be available through April at https://tinyurl.com/mvjpkvt2 and will give facilitators information about the priorities of Colorado residents in Archuleta, La Plata, San Juan and southern Hinsdale counties.

SCCORR Listening Sessions will also be held on these dates and locations:

  • 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield.
  • 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St., Pagosa Springs.
  • 5 to 6:30 p.m. March 19, Bayfield Calvary Presbyterian Church, 89 E. Mill St., Bayfield.
