A Christmas craft fair will be held at the Dolores Community Center, with different craft vendors featured each day on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2.

At the fair, which runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees will be able to view art, crafts and more from a variety of artisans, crafters and small businesses with the options of window shopping through the booths and purchasing items.

On Dec. 1, Navajo tacos will be available for purchase. On Dec. 2, hamburgers, hot dogs and chili will be available, and Santa will visit at 11 a.m.

While the event is still nearly a month away, organizer Laurie McGuire said vendor slots are full, with a waiting list for others who are interested in participating.

“I had so many people that were wanting in it this year, that I had to expand it to two days,” McGuire said.

A sampling of some of the vendors who will be present include author Lowell Bolk, Mountain Quilters, D&D Creations, Marcy Ryan Designs (jewelry) and Anne Englert (pottery). McGuire noted there will be many more vendors with exciting creations to put on display.

“Just all kinds of stuff,” she said.
