I looked forward to the Cortez Cash sale on Nov. 19. Because I am now a senior citizen, I take longer to organize and leave the house in the morning, so I planned to go to the 2 p.m. sale time instead of at 9 a.m. at the office of the Cortez Retail Enhancement Association.
I was highly disappointed to find that all the available funds were given out in the morning.
This is highly unfair!
In past such events, there was a limit to how many dollars were dispersed during each scheduled time period for the event.
I wonder how many other seniors or others with limited funding are now missing out on such a blessing to their grocery or other shopping budgets.
As for me, dear retail businesses of Cortez, gifts for my friends will be limited to $5 or less. Sorry.
