Cartoonist, author to visit Cortez library

Cartoonist and writer Matthew Henry Hall, author of the children’s books “Phoebe and Chub” and “The Lucky Hat,” will visit the Cortez Public Library on Tuesday, June 13, at 2 p.m.

Matthew’s performance includes sing-alongs, participation in helping create a story-song, learning how a story goes from a story to a book and finding out about the animals in “Phoebe and Chub”.

After Matthew’s performance, from 3:30-5 p.m., a cartoon workshop for tweens and teens is offered. Class limit is 20 participants ages 11-18. You may register at: http://bit.ly/2r0h4uA.
