Beginning April 1, the Bureau of Land Management will offer online reservations for self-guided tours at the Canyons of the Ancients Museum. Online reservations will be available on www.recreation.gov.
Timed entry will be available for one-hour self-guided tours limited to groups of ten or less in the allotted reservation time window. Museum tours are $6 for visitors 16 years or older. America the Beautiful Pass holders and those under the age of 16 will not be charged an entry fee. The online reservation system is available 24 hours a day with a $1 processing fee. Same-day ticket reservations may be available for purchase at the museum following CDC guidelines. America the Beautiful passes will be available for purchase online or at the museum.
No fee or reservation is necessary to visit Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, obtain general information at the visitor center front desk, or access the outdoor facilities and pueblos at the Visitor Center and Museum. The public is reminded to observe CDC guidelines when outdoors on public lands and to wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible.
