Bayfield boys soccer storms past Montezuma-Cortez

M-CHS goes to 0-9 after shutout

Tilden Berriman scored a pair of goals, Chad Winkler made a pair of saves against penalty kicks, and the Bayfield Wolverines’ boys soccer team shut out Montezuma-Cortez 3-0 on Tuesday night at Wolverine Country Stadium in Bayfield.

Berriman added his 12th and 13th goals of the season in the 21st and 34th minutes, and Berman Abdallah-Boehm added another BHS goal in the 67th minute to give the Wolverines (7-3, 5-3 3A Intermountain League) its fourth home win of the season. It was the fifth goal of the year for Abdallah-Boehm.
