One of today’s standout athletes and potentially one of tomorrow’s brightest stars, Montezuma-Cortez High School junior Natasha Gordon is the definition of “well rounded.”
A standout cheerleader, Gordon provides stability to the M-CHS cheerleading team, which is preparing for their regional competition this weekend.
“I like being on a team, being able to depend on people and have them depend on me,” said Gordon. “I love the girls on the team.”
Also a solid tennis player, Gordon plans to compete on the M-CHS tennis team for the first time this spring.
Far more than just an athlete, Gordon consistently earns mostly A grades in the classroom and describes art and physics as her favorite classes.
“I like art because it gives me the opportunity to express myself,” said Gordon.
Although Gordon is still weighing her college options, she plans on eventually attending law school.
Prep fans, be sure to keep an eye out for Gordon in the gym and on the tennis court this season. Also, watch for Gordon in a court room sometime in the near future.
