Recently, Russian President Vladmir Putin warned the West is pushing him “to the point of no return” over starting a nuclear war.“ (www.mirror.co.uk) Russia’s tactical nuclear weapons are about the same size as the ones used in Japan during World War II.
The use of these weapons would undoubtedly trigger a direct response from NATO and the U.S. would be obligated to go to war with Russia.
One tactical nuclear weapon attack on a nuclear power plant on the West Coast or on the Yellowstone super-volcano could render the U.S. uninhabitable. This is nuclear war we are talking about, where the only place to possibly survive would be in the Southern Hemisphere.
Russia and North Korea are also working together to enhance weapons capabilities. They are preparing to go to war with the U.S. and pledge to wipe us off the map.
Is it worth supporting the Ukraine at the potential expense of the rest of the world? If there is a nuclear WWIII, experts say the survivors will envy the dead. A nuclear winter could cause any remaining survivors to starve or freeze to death.
Maybe we are playing with fire and don’t realize it. I don’t have all the answers but I do have one question. How many American citizens are even aware of the dire situation we are in?
I vote “no” on sending U.S. weapons to the Ukraine to be used in Russia!
