Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club’s show promises to benefit local community

After a successful showing in 2013, the Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club’s Gun and Sportsman Show is looking ahead to 2014.

Scheduled for April 25-27 at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds, the 2014 show will feature booths selling firearms, knives, archery equipment and outdoor gear. In addition, the show may feature youth groups and military organizations.

“We invited all the youth groups, military organizations and businesses selling outdoor equipment and hunting-related products,” said show manager Steve Blackwell. “There will be something at the show for everyone.”

In addition to the variety of merchandise that the 2014 show is sure to provide, the event promises to provide a positive experience to attendees of all ages, while providing economic benefits to the local community.

“The gun show provides benefits to local businesses such as restaurants and hotels,” said Blackwell. “It’s one of the biggest events in the area, and it brings people from all over the United States.”

Individuals or businesses, regardless of their products, are encouraged to call Blackwell at (970) 749-9722 or (970) 565-8300 to receive an application for the show.

The price for an 8-foot table will be $55. Admission is $5 .
