The fourth annual Back to School Supply Drive is seeking donations for the drive-up giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Cortez Recreation Center parking lot.
Filled backpacks will be given away to people who registered and applied first, then to those who didn’t apply until supplies run out, programs coordinator Katrina Lindus said in an email.
Needed supplies include backpacks, notebook paper, pencils and pens, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, scissors, water colors, markers, glue, notebooks and folders, Landus said.
Donations may be dropped off at Montelores Early Childhood Council Office, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Dollar Tree and Salvation Army.
