City of Cortez Marketing Director Ami Fair receives the American Legion Medal for Americanism from John Shriner as city manager Shane Hale looks on. The medal is for Fair’s efforts in coordinating the annual Veterans Day Parade for the past five years. This year’s parade begins at 1 p.m. Nov. 11.
