The Montezuma County Fairgrounds will be the center of local activities beginning the end of this week with the annual Four States Agricultural Exposition. Agricultural equipment and services vendors will be on display, and available at about 60 booths and display areas.
This year is the Ag Expo’s 40th annual, a significant milestone.
There will be numerous educational activities for young and old, especially equestrian, and livestock and crop production.
It won’t be all agriculture, as the political parties will have booths, as will county social services, a fire district, and representatives of the insurance, real estate and artisans’ industries. In other words, the Ag Expo, as it has been in the past, is the time to see friends and neighbors who work in agriculture and enjoy rural living, and others who want to give their businesses some visibility.
It is a place to learn a little or a lot, to socialize and to make purchases.
The Journal is a sponsor, joining about 40 other businesses.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all day beginning at 8 a.m. Just east of Cortez.
Take it in. There will be much to enjoy.
