Adrien Lawyer will offer a Trans Training 101 class from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Ignacio Multi-Purpose Facility, 258 Ute Road.
Join Southwest Rainbow Youth and Sexual Assault Services Organization for an in-depth introductory training to transgender people, their lives and issues, presented by Adrien Lawyer, co-founder of the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.
This training will benefit all service and medical providers, law enforcement, educators and community members alike. Dinner will be provided. This is a free event.
