A community comes together for Thanksgiving

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Community Thanksgiving dinner a beautiful, calm, warm, and tasty event.

Thanks to the 51 (!) people volunteered – to those who donated food and funds; those who cooked and prepared turkeys and made gravy; those who baked pies; those who set up, served, and cleaned up after all the happy eaters had left; those who boxed and delivered meals to the homebound.

Thanks also to the United Methodist Church for the loan of their warming cabinet which helped make everything run smoothly. To all who came to take part in the meal and share their time and companionship with one another, thank you.

We are so fortunate to be part of a community that will come together like you did.
