KSJD hosts commissioner candidates for live on-air forum
KSJD Dryland Community Radio will host all three District 3 County Commissioner candidates for a live on-air forum on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 8:30 to 9 a.m. during the Zine local affairs program. KSJD will archive the audio on their website afterwards for people to hear the forum at a later time. KSJD broadcasts at 90.5 FM across the Four Corners area. Open forum for high schools upcoming ballot issue 3B
The Cortez 21st Century High School Committee will hold an open forum about 3B, the upcoming ballot question concerning the new high school on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at The Farm Bistro, 34 W. Main St., Cortez. The committee will have a brief presentation along with written information, and will then take questions and thoughts. Farm Bureau holds Meet the Candidates Night open forum
The San Juan Basin Farm Bureau invites the public to attend Meet the Candidates Night on Monday, Oct. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Montezuma County Annex Building, 103 N. Chestnut in Cortez. An open forum will be provided for all 2012 candidates to speak to the public regarding their campaign issues and proposals. Each candidate will be asked to give a two minute introduction, then the floor will be opened up to questions from the audience. Greens will host a variety of speakers at Issues Forum
An Issues Forum sponsored by the Montezuma County Greens will be held in the Calvin Denton Room at Empire Electric in Cortez, 801 N. Broadway, on Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. Pro and con positions will be presented by various speakers on the three state ballot issues and the three Montezuma County school funding requests.
