Colorado work zone deaths skyrocket in 2017

A 275-mile memorial procession carried the remains of Nolan Olson from Denver to his hometown of Pagosa Springs on March 2. Olson, an employee with the Colorado Department of Transportation, was filling potholes Feb. 2 on U.S. Highway 160 in Pagosa Springs when he was hit by a passing car. He died Feb. 11 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood.
