Wm. H. Brumley has received a consignment of real Budweiser beer, which he is disposing of in the corner room of his Hotel Del Rio. The beer is said to be the same in character and of the same alcoholic content that was enjoyed by millions before prohibition.

Mr. and Mrs. John Alligier, of Egnar, were in Monday bringing their 13-year-old daughter for medical attention. The girl was suffering from severe burns received one day last week in a gasoline explosion. The girl was drawing some gasoline from a car one evening, and a boy several feet away lit a match so that she could see whether the can was full. The father of the girl succeeded in smothering the blaze with his body and hands before the child was burned more seriously.

A timber and brushfire near Raymond caused a little excitement along the river on Sunday. A patch of several acres of hillside was burned over before the blaze was brought under control. There was little valuable timber in the area. The fire started from burning brush from land-clearing operations.

The fine new plane of Carl Darnell, which he flew in here from California recently, was badly damaged by high wind as it was moored at the Cortez landing field Sunday. It was torn from its fastenings, carried twenty feet into the air and crashed to the ground. One wing was broken off, it is said, and other parts were broken.

Superintendent Forest White, of the Rio Grande Southern, was a Dolores visitor Tuesday and stated that so far the railroad had not suffered from high water or washouts.

McPhee Items: A party and dance was given at the J.C. Bales home for the young folks of the community in honor of the birthday of Harold Bales Monday night. Dainty refreshments were served at midnight.
