For nonprofit groups interested in getting more information out to the community about their mission or upcoming events, thanks to Farmers Telephone, the Cortez Farmers Market will allow not-for-profit community organizations a venue for getting the word out to the community.
Organizations may hand out information, advertise upcoming events/fundraisers, conduct cooking lessons, conduct surveys, etc. Organizations may only sell products which directly relate to their organization as a fundraiser, and which do not compete with any paid vendors stand at the Farmers Market. Space is allotted on a first come-first served basis. The Market will supply the space and a shade structure; the organization will need to provide its own table(s) and chair(s).
