The next distribution is Saturday, Aug. 9. You must bring a box large enough for your commodities.
The state has a new policy about picking up goods for someone else, and there is a form that must be signed each month.
You must have a 2014 commodity card (cards are good for a calendar year), and only one card per household is allowed. Bring a copy of your proof of income for 2014, to be left at the office; proof of physical address; Social Security number for head of household; and a copy of driver’s license or state ID card.
Cortez: Fairgrounds, 30100 U.S. 160, 8 a.m. –8:30 a.m.
Dolores: Fire Hall, 45 Railroad Ave., 7:30 a.m.- 8:30 a.m.
Mancos: United Methodist Church, 470 Grand Ave., 7:30 a.m.- 8 a.m.
Cards may be obtained at the following places and times.
Cortez: Senior Services office in the annex, 107 N Chestnut, Wednesdays only, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Dolores: Dolores Community Center, 400 Riverside, Wednesdays only, 11 a.m.– noon.
Mancos: Masonic Lodge Senior Center, 141 E Montezuma, Wednesdays only, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
