The Boulder, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of $1.38 per share.
The drug developer posted revenue of $669,000 in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $23.9 million, or $4.50 per share. Revenue was reported as $7.9 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.14. A year ago, they were trading at $8.10.
