Survey shows wide support for reintroducing wolves in Colorado

More than 25 counties across Colorado ink resolutions opposing wolf reintroduction
Colorado Parks and Wildlife on July 10, 2019, confirmed that a gray wolf photographed in Jackson County, Colorado, is a dispersing male gray wolf from Wyoming. The collared wolf is from the Snake River pack and was last recorded by transmission signals on Feb. 12, 2019, during routine telemetry flights around South Pass.
An initiative to reintroduce gray wolves to Colorado has qualified for the November ballot.

Body text: The secretary of state’s office said Monday that backers of the proposal turned in sufficient valid voter signatures to qualify the measure.
