Stakeholders in the region’s potential broadband connectivity project are invited to give feedback at a planning meeting April 13 in Cortez.
The meeting, put on by the Southwest Colorado Council of Governments (SWCCOG), will take place at First National Bank from 9 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
SWCCOG is attempting to develop a plan that utilizes the region’s Southwest Colorado Access Network to bring high-speed broadband Internet to more homes and businesses in Montezuma and Dolores counties.
Cortez general services director Rick Smith said the group is trying to get as many people involved in the discussion as possible.
“We’re asking different groups to come in at different times to see how we can improve on (the network) and make it more effective,” Smith said.
Members of designated groups are asked to attend the meeting during scheduled time slots.
