The seed swap held at the Mancos Public Library on Saturday was a big success. About 50 to 60 people attended, all with seeds in hand and big garden plans on their minds.
Lee Hallberg, director of the Mancos Public Library was pleased and so were those that attended.
"It went very well," Hallberg said. "There were all kinds of seeds."
If you missed the swap, Hallberg said they are going to set up a seed library of sorts at the library. Gardeners are allowed to borrow or swap seeds at the library, and are asked to leave seeds or save seeds from this year's plants and donate them back in the fall.
