The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is sponsoring a Live Nativity on Dec. 21-24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in front of the church at 1600 E. Empire St., in Cortez.

This event is open to all to dress as a Nativity character to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth in front of the church.

The church is looking for eight to 10 people for each 30-minute shift. To take part, arrive 15 minutes before your shift and dress warmly – you’ll be standing outside at the Live Nativity Stable.

Nativity attire will be provided, and live animals are a part of this re-enactment.
