‘Call out Boebert on genocide’

So far, there are few who have been willing to show up and support a movement united against racism, islamophobia, anti-semitism, transphobia, and above all, state-sanctioned violence and genocide. Direct your vitriol to our U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, who has made statements portraying all Arabs as terrorists, implying that any aid to Arab countries in the Middle East, whether humanitarian aid or funds for hostage deals, bankrolls terrorism.

In recent years, she has advocated to drastically defund the U.N.’s aid package to Gaza. In the days since Oct. 7, Boebert was one of those in Congress who voted to censure Palestinian American U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, whose censureship is shameful and horrifying. Tliab condemned Biden’s support of genocide and tweeted, “From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction or hate.” According to Congress, that’s a “genocidal chant.”

Call out Boebert for pulling the trigger on this genocide and the more than 230 representatives who also voted to censure Tlaib. Then call out every church and synagogue that has put their support behind Israel’s unspeakable violence. Join us on Sunday at Buckley Park in Durango at 4 p.m. to protest.

Support the small group of Jewish, Arab, Indigenous and allied folks (many of us multiply marginalized people) who have decided that, in support of Palestine, it is our non-negotiable responsibility to use our hearts, our bodies, and our voices to speak out however we can – for the sake of humanity.
