6:30 p.m. A man with two warrants was arrested at 206 W. Seventh St. after a bicycle chase turned into a foot chase. When caught, he was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer and possessing drug paraphernalia.
12:30 p.m. A deputy served two warrants to a woman in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
3:25 p.m. A man was cited for damaging a window on his mother’s property at 650 E. Second St., because she changed the locks.
8:07 p.m. A man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident at 1400 N. Dolores Road. The woman he allegedly hit was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle.
10:09 p.m. A man with one headlight out, who failed to yield in traffic and almost struck a minor in the McDonald’s Drive-thru was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of a weapon, and criminal traffic violation at the 1800 block of Main St.
1:09 a.m. A woman was arrested for obstructing a police officer, disorderly conduct and illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by an underage person.
8:25 p.m. A man was arrested and booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center on suspicion of violating a protection order at 20 W. Fourth St.
1:34 p.m. A man was arrested on a felony warrant in the 100 block of E. Main St. and booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
3:52 p.m. A woman was arrested at Walmart on multiple warrants and booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
7:00 p.m. A man who identifies as a woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence at 200 N. Park St.
1:50 a.m. An officer arrested two women at 203 E. Seventh St. One woman was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order. Another woman was cited with suspicion of DUI, driving per se, failure to provide proof of insurance and driving with a revoked license.
10:25 a.m. A man at 2500 Alamosa St. found a chain saw on the side of the road and turned it over to an officer.
12:49 p.m. A man reported that his tires and rims from a Chevy Sliverado were stolen from his property at 540 S. Chestnut St.
7:10 p.m. An officer was bit by a woman’s dog while investigating her complaint that a football damaged her car at 821 S. Chestnut St. The woman signed a home confinement agreement for her dog after she stated it had bitten one other person.
9:33 a.m. An officer was called to 450 W. 2nd St. to pick up contraband and controlled substances.
10:37 a.m. A man was arrested on a warrant and remanded to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:06 p.m. A woman was cited with shoplifting at 2021 E. Main St.
4:55 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, reckless driving, careless driving, reckless endangerment domestic violence, driving without a valid driver’s license, and an open container at 300 W. Empire St.
7:24 p.m. An group of intoxicated people wielding weapons was reported to be disturbing the peace. Two women sharing a homemade machete and one man were arrested on warrants at 125 N. Park St.
7:52 p.m. A man turned himself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant.
9:06 p.m. An officer received information about suspicious activity in a reporting citizens neighborhood on E. Downey Ave.
10:32 p.m. A man was cited and arrested on suspicion of speeding, not having proof of insurance, and DUI at 815 E. Main St.
11:55 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant and remanded to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. he was arrested upon release from the emergency room at 1311 N. Mildred Road.

4:24 p.m. A man was cited with trespassing and shoplifting at 508 E. Main St.
4:28 p.m. A woman was arrested and cited with a protection order violation and unlawful possession of less than 4g of a controlled substance.
6:27 p.m. A man was assaulted at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St. and taken to a hospital for treatment.
7:46 p.m. A man was cited with criminal mischief when he was suspected of breaking a glass door at Burger Boy, 400 E. Main St.
8:59 p.m. A man reported fraud by wire transfer via PayPal in the amount of $484 when he tried to buy a puppy on Facebook.

3:45 p.m. A woman was hobbled by police because she was kicking the police patrol vehicle after the officer took away her alcohol. The woman was arrested and cited with suspicion of violating a restraining order that specified she shall not possess or consume alcohol. A man who was with her was also arrested and cited with violating a restraining order that specified he shall not possess or consume alcohol, and for shoplifting at 2121 E. Main St.
4:03 a.m. A woman was arrested and cited with suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, unsafe backing and leaving the scene of an accident at 516 S. Madison St.
12:07 p.m. A man reported being harrassed and threatened by a woman on Facebook at the Cortez Police Department, 608 N. Park St.
12:54 p.m. A woman reported her car was damaged from a hit-and-run at a roping event at 1519 Arrowhead Lane.
5:05 p.m. An officer reported finding a bag of an illegal controlled substance under the backseat of his patrol vehicle at the Cortez Police Department, 608 N. Park St.
7:10 p.m. A man was cited with and arrested for violating a restraining order that stated he must not be in possession or shall not consume alcohol at 830 E. Main St.

2:59 a.m. A couple reported a suspected break-in at their residence when the woman heard a loud noise outside near a window, which was broken at 107 E. Seventh St.
9:02 a.m A woman reported damage to her car windshield and driver’s side door at 600 S. Washington St.
2:35 p.m. A woman was issued a home confinement agreement form for her dog, who was reported to have bitten multiple people at 921 N. Edith St.
4:49 p.m. A man was cited with trespassing and violation of bond conditions at 1835 E. Main St.
6:20 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order at 215 W. 2nd St.
8:39 p.m A man and woman were arrested for warrants at 1580 E. Main St. the woman was also arrested and cited for violating a protection order.
11:42 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at 508 E. Main St.
2:20 a.m. A man reported being assaulted in his hotel room at 728 S. Broadway. A suspect was arrested on suspicion of 3rd degree assault at a different location. While at that location an officer ran a name check on an individual at the suspects residence who was not involved in the assault and discovered the man had a warrant, that man was also arrested on a warrant.
