9:32 a.m. A woman turned herself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on two warrants.

Sunday, June 11

10 p.m. A bail bondsman brought in a man to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. The man was arrested on two warrants.

Wednesday, June 7

10:32 p.m. A woman scratched a profane sexual euphemism onto the passenger door of her boyfriend’s car after they had been arguing. The woman then left the man’s home in the 27400 block of Road T.5 and was seen driving east on Colorado Highway 184 near mile marker 9. An officer signaled with lights and sirens for the woman to pull over, and she continued to drive at the speed limit. A spike strip was used to damage the woman’s tires near mile marker 25, and she turned east onto U.S. Highway 160 heading into Mancos. Two officers stopped the vehicle in the 42000 block of U.S. 160 by boxing it in. An officer drew his weapon and told the woman to exit, and she refused. Another officer broke the front driver window and the woman crawled into the back seat. The officer broke the back driver window and sprayed the woman with OC spray. The woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief, domestic violence and eluding.

Tuesday, June 13

12:27 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:41 a.m. A woman at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:02 p.m. An officer served five warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:28 p.m. A woman at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

5:40 p.m. A man sitting in a car with his father in the 24000 block of Road M hit his father in the mouth. The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and violation of a protection order.

Wednesday, June 14

10:10 a.m. A man driving a semitrailer heading north on U.S. Highway 160 ran a stop light a the Road G intersection. A truck turning left onto northbound U.S. 160 had to break to avoid hitting the semitrailer. The semi driver was issued a citation for disregarding a traffic control device.

10:23 a.m. An employee of the town of Dolores Maintenance found the wires that operated a sprinkler system were cut at the well house in Joe Rowell Park, 94 Central Ave. The employee believes it was cut by a former employee.

10:28 p.m. A vehicle in a ditch in the 24000 block of Road G was off, and the woman in the driver seat claimed she was not driving at the time of the crash. The woman’s boyfriend was parked behind the crashed vehicle and claimed he had taken the man to the home of his girlfriend’s mother. The boyfriend did not know who was driving. The woman elected to provide a blood sample and was taken to the hospital.

12:11 p.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:30 p.m. A man in the 14800 block of Road 31 broke the window of his car to retrieve a cannabis joint. The man’s partner locked the front door of the home, and the man shoved it open, breaking the door jam and trim. The front door hit the woman in the face when the man broke the door. When officers attempted to arrest the man he ran, making it roughly 400 yards before being held at Taser point. The man then complied and was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief, domestic violence and obstructing an officer.

1:43 p.m. An officer served two warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, June 15

2:09 p.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 965 N. Park St., was arrested on a warrant.

Friday, June 16

11:03 p.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, June 17

11:11 p.m. A man driving a truck and trailer hit the passenger side of a parked semitrailer in the parking lot of the Ute Mountain Travel Center, 1 E. Mike Wash Road. The man drove off when confronted by the semitrailer’s owner. He was stopped in the 10000 block of U.S. Highway 491 and cited with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident involving damage.

11:16 p.m. A bear raided a trash can next to a campsite restroom in the 18600 block of Colorado Highway 145.
