Animas Valley Grange will host a presentation about native bees by Erik Ryba, Colorado Master Gardener, at 6:30 p.m. March 20.
Ryba, a lifelong backyard gardener and native bee enthusiast, will give a short lecture about some of Southwest Colorado’s native bees, the benefits of native bees, their foraging and nesting behavior, and what you can do to promote them in your own garden space.
This event will be held at the Animas Valley Grange Hall, 7271 County Road 203 and via Zoom. This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at 6:15 p.m.
