I happened to somehow get on to the Publicans’ blog list for FaceBook, and they are constantly blasting Gov. Polis for something or other. I wish I'd not gotten on and have asked to be removed from it, so far without success.
That said, while reading their postings, I've concluded that if Polis had an (R) after his name rather than a (D), a Publican instead of Democrat, and holding his legislative and administrative records constant, the Publicans in the state would be busy composing additional verses of Handel's “Hallelujah Chorus” to sing his praises.
Instead, they muse about, trying to trash him from sunup to sundown, and without success. When even the Pubs can't come up with meaningful trash, we know that he's doing a good job.
