This is a response to a letter June 8 in The Durango Herald.
We Democrats are not “revealing that our candidates are not worth a tinker’s damn,” as the writer suggests, but that the 3rd Congressional District of Colorado leans heavily Republican and a Democrat has little to no chance of being elected from this district. We would rather have a principled, moderate and moral Republican such as Don Coram as our representative than an uneducated idiot like Lauren Boebert.
Don’t be so quick to pat yourself on the back, sir. We are in favor of good governance rather than conspiracy theories. We actually believe in America and our Constitution – all of it rather than just the Second Amendment – and will vote for what is best for all of America and Americans, instead of just our own private interests and the white-pride crowd that is today’s Republican Party.
