2:28 p.m. A man reported that his house and car were egged in the 100 block of North Third Street. The man was sending a deputy home security footage.
2:06 p.m. A man reported that he was scammed out of a $500 reward for his lost property that was never returned in the 20900 block of Road M. There were no leads.
1:36 p.m. A man reportedly used fake checks to buy and register a car at the Montezuma County Clerk’s Office, 140 W. Main St. No. 1. A deputy entered the car as stolen and sought a warrant for the man.
2:34 p.m. A man reported that about $1000 worth of items were stolen from his storage unit at L & L Mini Storage, 27881 U.S. Highway 160. There were no leads.
3:30 p.m. A man reported his wallet was stolen out of his unlocked vehicle in the IFA Country Store parking lot, 10501 U.S. Highway 491. A store employee was sending a deputy security footage.
8:48 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant and issued a summons for violating a restraining order after a deputy observed him hanging out with a girl whom he was legally prohibited from contacting in the 30000 block of Road S.6.
4:19 p.m. A man was issued summons for driving without a license, insurance or registration after an officer pulled him over for having an unlit brake light.
11:25 a.m. A woman reported that a possible stalker left flowers and chocolates on her car in the 100 block of North Seventh Street. She told a deputy she had heard someone in her house the night prior. There were no suspects.
11:24 a.m. A woman reported that her friend was assaulted by her brother in the 25800 block of U.S. Highway 491. The woman was hesitant to press charges.
11:47 a.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
12:12 p.m. A deputy returned to the residence of the woman who was reportedly assaulted by her brother after he apparently hit and killed the woman’s dog with his vehicle in the 25800 block of U.S. Highway 491.
8:13 p.m. A woman was taken into custody for drunken driving after she reportedly ran into a gate at the P and D Grocery Store, 160 E. Frontage Road.
9:50 a.m. A woman was taken into custody on outstanding warrants in the 11900 block of Road 39.2 after and anonymous caller requested a welfare check on her.
12:25 p.m. A woman reported that her father kicked her dog in the 31800 block of Road R because he suspected that the dog attacked his sheep.
6:47 p.m. A man turned himself in for failing to register as a sex offender at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
10:42 p.m. A deputy recovered an abandoned bike in the 30500 block of Road H.
5:29 a.m. A man reportedly backed into a woman’s parked car in the 11500 block of Road 25. No charges were filed.
8:47 a.m. A man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
