Hope’s Kitchen and Sharehouse are working together to offer the annual Montezuma County Community Christmas Dinner, which will take place Christmas Day, Dec. 25, between 11 a.m.-1 p.m at the Montezuma County Annex building at 107 N. Chestnut St.
Because of COVID concerns, meals will be available for take-out only. Delivery is available to those that are homebound, said Laurie Hall, director of Sharehouse.
This year, there will be ham, yams, roasted potatoes, salad, green beans and dinner rolls. Thanks to Sharehouse, many of the ingredients used in the meal are locally sourced.
The community is invited to donate pies that don’t require refrigeration at the county Annex building from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
For more information or to make a donation, email Laurie at info@montezumafoodcoalition.org. To volunteer or request home delivery, please call Sharon at 529-6036.
