Stockman and Stewardship to host education seminar

Stockman and Stewardship will host an educational seminar Aug. 27 and Aug. 28 at Spring Hollow Ranch & Equestrian Park, 256 Rancho Milagro Way, Hesperus.

The seminar will feature presentations from beef industry experts such as Temple Grandin and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association stockmanship clinicians about how implementing sound stockmanship and stewardship practices adds value to bottom lines.

The keynote address will be given by Grandin, a livestock behaviorist, and will discuss how animal welfare improvements have altered the cattle and livestock industries throughout the world, and will provide her perspective about how the industry can continue to improve.

Tickets are $100 for all events and meals, $25 for students, or $65 for the keynote dinner event only.
