I took a walk down Main Street while it was snow free, did some Christmas shopping and thought it was time to check it out again. I find some nice shops, restaurants, coffee shops, beauty salons, jewelry stores, and other businesses.
I especially applaud the younger owners for taking the initiative to go forward in new ventures in this time of challenge. I have seen so many business come and go in the downtown area and miss those we lost.
It is encouraging for me as I live in the neighborhood to find Main Street happening and I hope for success. Shop downtown not out of town!
