Rocky Mountain Health Foundation awards grants to local organizations

Thirty Western Slope nonprofit organizations received a total of $468,300 for the first cycle of 2019 grant awards from Rocky Mountain Health Foundation.

Local recipients include: Compañeros: Four Corners Immigrant Resource Center, KSUT, Reaching Out to Community and Kids, and The Bridge Emergency Shelter.

General operating and programmatic grants were awarded to organizations that address basic needs; access to and affordability of physical, oral and visual health and mental health; and community-based health projects that: support the socially and economically disadvantaged; provide resources for achieving and maintaining healthy, independent lives; maintain, nurture and strengthen healthy minds and bodies; and offer opportunities for well-being and quality of life.
