The Montezuma County League of Women Voters will sponsor a community forum at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 at Dolores Public Library.
The League of Women Voters of the United States has encouraged all local chapters to take action to support and promote the 2020 Census. One recommended action is for local groups to have community education forums to underscore why a complete and accurate census is important to local communities.
Karen Sheek and Doug Roth of the Complete Count Committee will present information concerning their plans to “get out the count,” and they will underscore the benefits to Montezuma County residents that a complete count will bring.
