The Mancos Public Library is holding a free astronomy day on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
During the day, MPL will be home to an indoor planetarium, and the Four Corners Star Gazers will be visiting the library.
Also planned are several activities about stars, star gazing, and the solar system.
An evening star-gazing party will also be held at 9 p.m. on the Mancos High School Football Field, where there will be several telescopes. Bring a flashlight, binoculars and a warm coat.
