The events for this year’s fair theme — An American Tradition — are just that, but the schedule also includes some unusual activities.

FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

11:30 a.m. — Chicken Flying Contest, Main Barn

12:30 p.m. — Redneck Horseshoes, west side of Main Barn

12:45 p.m. — Cowboy Golf, Main Barn

2:30 p.m. — 3-legged Mud Race (South 4D) mud pit

3:00 p.m. — Mud volleyball, Round Horse Arena

4:00 p.m. — Pet Parade, Main Barn

4:00 p.m. — Chips and Salsa Contest Entry, Main Barn

5:00 p.m. — Judging for Chips and Salsa Contest

5:30 p.m. — Capture the Flag, Outdoor Arena

7:00 p.m. Demolition Derby begins, Race Track

SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS

2:15 p.m. — 4-H/FFA Awards program, Main Barn

3:00 p.m. — Junior Livestock Sale, Main Barn

5:30 p.m. — Chuck Wagon Dinner, Beef Barn

6 p.m.- 10 p.m. — Ranch Rodeo, Outdoor Arena
