Library to launch Four Corners/One Book program

The launch of the Four Corners/One Book program will take place Sept. 27.

The Cortez Public Library will host the Four Corners/One Book launch event and author visit beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the library in the lawn under the willow, 202. N Park St.

Festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Karen Sheek. Special door prizes will be given away and refreshments will be provided.

At 6 p.m., the event will move into the library for an author talk and book signing with author C. Joseph Greaves.

Greaves will present his new book, “Church of the Graveyard Saints,” the first Four Corners/One Book reading selection. The book is set in the Four Corners and will be available for sale and signing.

Refreshments will be served. Both events are free and open to the public. For more information, call 565-8117.
