$329,000 awarded to health-focused nonprofits in Southwest Colorado

Rocky Mountain Health Foundation awarded $329,000 to health-focused nonprofit organizations that address physical and mental health, basic needs and COVID-19 response, including these local organizations:

Montezuma County: Medicine Horse Center and Moguan Behavioral Health.La Plata County: Local First Foundation, Pine River Shares and The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado.These awards bring the total amount distributed through traditional grant-making since the foundation’s inception to more than $3.2 million, benefiting 280 organizations.
