The passing of Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa, was well-recognized in America by politicians and citizens. Mandela certainly endured hardship in his lifetime and overcame much. However, we can’t forget that he was also a hard-core communist and a man with political values that are anathema to what has made America great. The fact that Obama ordered our flag to half staff in honor of Mandela is really a desecration of that tradition. Did the hero patriots who defended the American consulate in Benghazi get such honors? No. Instead, Obama is doing all he can to cover up that act. This is disgraceful and should be protested by all who hold our honor sacred. Obama again is showing that he is unqualified and unworthy to hold the highest office in America.
