Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance has lined up three exceptional films for its Sunday matinee.
Go at 1 p.m. to chat and get your popcorn. Then settle in for an afternoon of documentaries you won’t see at the theater.
Sunday matinees will be Jan. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Empire Electric Association in the Calvin Denton Room, 801 N. Broadway, Cortez.

The films are: Pathway to the Gods, which explores the history of chocolate, at 1:15 p.m.; NEMO, which explores the disappearance of Everett Ruess, at 2:35 p.m.; and Death of Place, which defines the importance of landscape and archaeological preservation, at 3:35 p.m.
