SBDC to host agriculture financial workshop

Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center will host an “Understanding your agriculture financial statements” workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 12 at Montezuma County Annex, 107 N. Chestnut St.

The workshop will be taught by Pat Calhoun, a former commercial loan officer who specialized in agricultural lending.

The workshop will help participants maximize the potential of Colorado businesses through expert financial consulting. It will cover how to develop financial statements, the importance of understanding financial statements, what the statements mean and how to use financial statements to make strategic decisions.
