Young wrestlers compete in ‘Blanding Brawl’

Seventeen members of Dolores peewee club earn top honors in Utah

Sporting black and white uniforms and determined expressions, numerous members of the Dolores Pee Wee Wrestling Club took part in the ‘Blanding Brawl’ tournament, in Utah on March 9.

Placing first in their respective age divisions for Dolores were Willy Millard, Jaiden Green, Jackson Beattie, Noah Hobbs, Ryatt Loomis, Evan Woody, Jordan Yazzie, Jacob Steps, River Wickstrom, Zachary Taylor, Kaianna Ashmore, Liam Ferguson, Brody Liukko, Emilio Duran, Jaxx Robson, Aubriella Duran and Teagun Samora.

Second-place finishers for Dolores included Dillon Eichner, Marshal Wickstrom, Brooks Story, Zaine Johnson-Ward, Daniel Jacket, Kyle Black, Kason Pixler, Bodie Stiegelmeyer, Tildon Begay, Gage Mueller and Dylan Hanson.

Earning third place for Dolores were Cash Rogers, True Loomis, Bryson Higman, Kameron Adams, Tristan Schuster, Michael Millard and Josh Robson. Fourth-place finishers included Abigail Green, Jozlyn Isaman, Kade Stepp, Devon Wall, Daniel Phillpott, Hunter Ferguson, Tilden Begay, Nico Martinez, Asher Liukko and Madisyn Schuster.

Next on the schedule for the Dolores club is the Bayfield Tournament, at Bayfield High School on March 16.
